BGMI – Battle Grounds Mobile India the Indias most favourite game.
BGMI which is part of KRAFTON Inc launched the game in India as PUBG Mobile around 2018 which has created so much of a craze amongst the youngsters.
PUBG Mobile also produced some of the best youtubers in the gaming sector , Many youtubers found fame due to PUBG Mobile.
PUBG mobile also helped many youngsters to create a career in the gaming industry. Something people never thought of.
KRAFTON has organised more mobile game tournaments with handsome cash prizes which has helped many gamers to financially become stable.
However during covid 2020, India govt has decided to BAN Chinese mobile apps, Under the IT act for stealing the sensitive data of the users. From the list PUBG mobile was one of them.
Hence KRAFTON had to shut down their operations of PUBG Mobile in India.
In 2021, KRAFTON has announced a relaunch of PUBG mobile in India with brand new name and brand new privacy policies.
KRAFTON announced relaunch as BGMI – battle grounds Mobile India.
This was given a new hope to many gamers and with govt approval finally BGMI was launched in India which was specifically made only for Indian users and gamers. Unlike the PUBG mobile you will not be able to play with other users in different countries.
However in August 2022 the government of India and the Ministry of IT decided to BAN BGMI for indulging in data being sent to outside India .
Due to which BGMI was banned by the Govt of India.
BGMI game has been removed from Google Play Store and other sources.
Users are still able to play BGMI if they have already downloaded it on their mobile phones. But only the time will tell us how long the users are able to play the game without being available on the Google Play Store.
This time we just need to wait and see how KRAFTON and BGMI management is trying to bring the game back to India and what steps are being taken to get the game back on the googlei play store.
