Sergio Ramos is struggling to reach an agreement with Real Madrid over a new contract, and that might help Ronaldo to make him move to Juventus.

The Spaniard is one of the best defenders of his generation and Juventus would benefit greatly from having him in their dressing room.

Sources revealed that he wouldn’t be renewing his current deal with Real Madrid.

He was close with Cristiano Ronaldo during their time in Madrid, and the report says that Ronaldo the Portuguese attacker has now recommended him to Juventus.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos won plenty of trophies together at Real Madrid with the duo playing a starring role in multiple UEFA Champions League victories. Juventus are determined to conquer Europe with Cristiano Ronaldo and the arrival of Sergio Ramos could give the Serie A giants the class and experience required to win Europe’s premier club competition.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos are both born winners and with both of them still going strong, Andrea Pirlo might be tempted to take a short term risk on the experienced duo and pair them up once again at Juventus.

This second half of the season is an important time for them in the title race and if they can add Ramos, things should go smoother.

Ramos has won numerous league and Champions League titles since he has been at Madrid, and the report says Juventus considers him a player that can help them end their Champions League drought and continue their Serie A dominance.

Ronaldo will be a key man in their bid to lure him, and if he manages to bring him to Turin, Juventus might even hand him a longer deal.

Sergio Ramos has not yet renewed his contract with Real Madrid. The soon to be 35-year-old defender is legally permitted to negotiate with non-Spanish club’s as his current contract runs out in June.

Real Madrid are more than willing to renegotiate terms with their captain, however, the club wants to stick to their policy. Meanwhile, Sergio Ramos wants to be an exception to the policy as he demands a two-year extension along with an increase in his wages.

The negotiations between the two parties has reached a deadlock now. With Los Blancos struggling to strike a deal, Juventus have now entered the scene with an attractive offer.

Juventus always love a free signing and how could it possibly get any better when you have the opportunity to sign arguably the greatest centre-back of this generation. The Bianconeri are closely monitoring Ramos’s situation and could make an offer in the coming days. With Giorgio Chiellini planning on hanging up his boots next season, Sergio Ramos could potentially be slotted straight into the starting eleven to replace the Italian legendary defender.

However, the Bianconeri are not the only one in the race to sign Ramos. Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are also favourites to land the former Sevilla man. The former currently seem to be favourites as they have already offered Ramos a lucrative two-year contract along with an increase in his wages.

If Real Madrid plans on keeping their captain for another year or so, then the deal must be finalised soon enough. The pressure continues to mount on the shoulders of Florentino Perez as several other clubs continue to show interest in Sergio Ramos.
