If we could have got wickets in the first hour maybe we would have got into the mandatory overs but getting 8 wickets in the last 15 overs is a bit of a stretch.
Overall it is a great experience for all the girls playing this test format and the players are going to play in the future for them to sort of and experience how the longer format is actually played.
This is one of our best performances in the Test format.

Mithali Raj said having 8 debutants in 2014 and winning a test in an England team who just won the ashes that was also very close but then playing in Australian soil against them the girl really put up a great show.
If there is a 3 format bilateral series it should be a regular thing so that players also get the needed experience and exposure not just one test match in a year because it also opens up experience for players who specifically want to play one particular format.
Going into the T20 format from where we started one dayers and carrying the momentum into the test format I clearly think that we do have a chance to win the T20 Series.
In England at one point we were on the verge of losing and there on the lower order actually put on a great show partnership that Sneha Rana, Tania Bhatia , Deepti Sharma have played well in England.
Coming to the Australian series, Smriti has played well. 100 is fabulous.

The way our seamers bowled they bowled very well especially in this test.
All 3 seamers including Jhulan Goswami of course is an experienced seamer but she has been in very good rhythm and along with her 2 young seamers stood well.
About Pooja Vastrakar on the growth as all Rounder – We were looking for somebody to play a specific role you know going forward into the world cup so we wanted somebody who can bowl and give us a few overs as a seamer and she fitted that role and it is important for us to give her the confidence and give her more of the game time so she can fit into that role.

England was a little difficult because she just made a comeback into the one day series after 2 years and she was just finding her rhythm in the Australian one day series and here in this series along with Jhulan she has really come of that rhythm and she bowled really well.
