For India, there was a slight concern about the balance of the team when Hardik Pandya got injured. But Mohamed Shami’s silence lulled doubters with a fiery fire-wicked haul. The three Lions have absolutely nothing going for them. Even their strong batting line-up did not turn up in batting-friendly Bangalore. And their slump with the runs has now stretched to three straight games.

So will we see another one of those run fests in Lucknow? Now this should have been a clash of tournament favourites. But how things have changed. The men in blue will still have to be wary of being complacent.
