And now, after a well-deserved break, Rohit Sharma and company head to Lucknow to face England, who are not playing like defending champions. So will the blues fight only their misery?
For India, there was a slight concern about the balance of the team when Hardik Pandya got injured. But Mohamed Shami’s silence lulled doubters with a fiery fire-wicked haul. And with a vice-captain still not available, India could feel the same eleven against England. However, if the pitch in Lucknow is a turning track, Ravi Chandran Ashmin could be brought in as the third spinner.
