IPL 2023 – The T20 Cricket match between RCB and GT is currently in progress. The match started on Sunday, 21 May 2023 at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. This is the Match 70 of the Indian Premier League, 2023. GT won toss and decided to Field first. In the Inning-1, RCB scored 197 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs.
RCB has been put to bat first, Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis opening the innings and they were able to put up a 50+ runs partnership for the first wicket.

Faf du Plessis (c) scored 28 runs of 19 balls and lost his wicket to a spinner.
Virat Kohli continued his form and was able to score a century and scored 101 runs off 61 balls with a strike rate of 165.60.
Virat Kohli surpasses Chris Gayle for most centuries in IPL and he becomes the first player to score 7 centuries in IPL.
Virat Kohli and Anuj Rawat put up a partnership of 65+ runs in the death overs to help RCB to a very good and defending total of 197 runs in 20 overs.
Virat Kohli is in his prime form and has scored back-to-back centuries In IPL 2023, He scored a century against SRH in the last match he played in Hyderabad and he was able to score a century in the match against GT.

RCB needs to win this match to stay alive in the competition and to qualify for the playoffs.
Mumbai Indians already won their match against SRH with 8 wickets and are already at 16 points.
In order to qualify for the Playoffs RCB just needs to win the match against GT to reach 16 points.
We will have to wait and see till the last ball of the match.
