PUBG Mobile India – Ban May not be lifted – Here All we know.
Few days ago it was reported that the Indian version of PUBG Mobile India has been registered as a legitimate company in India.
As per reports much awaited PUBG Mobile India will officially be launched in India in the first week of December, sources in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) told that the Indian government is yet to give permission to the game to operate in the country again. As PUBG was banned in India so would need to get permission from MEITY to operate once again in India as it was mentioned (MEITY) that a banned entity can’t operate just by opening a company in India as per sources.
On November 12, PUBG Corporation had announced its plan to release a special Indian version of PUBG Mobile and since then fans of PUBG in India eagerly waiting for the official release. Several reports claim that PUBG Mobile India will officially be released in December first week but PUBG Corporation is yet to make any official announcement. Very important news is that PUBG Corporation is also planning to make investments worth $100 million (Rs 750 crore) in India.
Something new to PUBG
· The new game has been created specifically for the Indian market, PUBG Corporation, creator of (PUBG) and a subsidiary of South Korea’s KRAFTON mentioned.
· The company plans to provide a secure and healthy gameplay environment alongside investments to cultivate local video games, e-sports, entertainment, and IT industries.
· The company will now make investments in India’s exclusive e-sports events, which will feature the biggest tournaments, the largest prize pools, and the best tournament productions.
· This time, there will be jobs for Indian market. The Indian entity will hire around 100 employees specialising in business, e-sports, and game development as well there will be local office in India.
· Data security will be a top priority of the new game. The company will conduct regular audits and verifications to ensure Indian users data are managed safely.
· The game content will be improved as the previous version the users had crates opening for the characters to be fully clothed but in the new version the characters will be fully clothed from the day one of playing.
Some media reports claimed that the Indian version of the PUBG Mobile India will be initially available only for users on the Android platform. It is likely that the company would release the game for iOS users after few days.
