Afghanistan now joins a growing list of countries that have banned PUBG. This includes Nepal, Iraq, Jordan, Pakistan, and India.

On The Afghanistan Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ATRA) on Thursday suspended the game in the country temporarily. Omar Mansoor Ansari, acting ATRA head, had said, “Our team submitted a report on the issue to ATRA Board after carrying out an extensive analysis, and then a decision was taken to block this game temporarily considering its social and security impact.”

The statement from ATRA Chairman implicates that the ban was imposed due to its ill impacts.

Before taking the strong step, the ATRA had consulted various ministries, psychologists, parents, school headmasters, cyber security experts, and more before handing out this suspension.

This bans in several countries is not at all a good sign for PUBG fans, especially for India wherein fans were hoping to see the game soon and with list of countries getting added to the Ban list would really dishearten the fans. With so many things going on, with regards to the game it is clear enough that the unban would not to be seen soon.
