India V England – India played their second T20i against England on 03/14/21 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad.After losing the 1st T20I on 03/12/21 against England at the same ground indian team came back strong and leveled the 5 match series 1-1 after a successful chase of 165.
Team Virat made changes to the playing XI for the second T20i and gave an opportunity to Both the uncapped players and debutants Suryakumar Yadav & Ishan Kishan. They have excluded Axar Patel & Shikhar Dhawan after the loss of the 1st T20I against England.

Suryakumar Yadav who played his 1st T20I against England seems to have played in pressure which resulted in a Catch drop. Later he took another catch which was also fumbled and was able to grab it at the second attempt.
KL Rahul the Player of the tournament in IPL for scoring most highest runs is not in his best of the forms , He has played 2 matches in both the matches he got out either single digit score or at duck.
Indian Team gave an opportunity to the debutant Ishan Kishan to open the innings alongside KL Rahul in the absence of Dhawan and Rohit Sharma.

Ishan Kishan made his debut in international cricket in second T20I against england and put up a show with his bat where he was able to score 56 runs of just 32 balls the way he had batted did not give any hint to spectators that he is playing his 1st International Match.
Kohli who went on duck in the last match took the responsibility in his hands where India already lost 1 wicket zero runs and kept motivating the newbie Ishan Kishan who was hitting the ball hard in all directions and both built a partnership of 94 runs.Later when Ishan Kishan got out at 56 runs in 32 balls kohli took the charge along with Rishabh Pant who played his part and scored 26 runs in just 13 balls.

Which ensured a win for Team India in the second T20I Match against england.
In the same match Virat Kohli becomes the first player to reach 3000 runs in T20I.

We ticked all the boxes we wanted to and to give away only 34 odd in the last five overs is very special effort. Special mention to Washi and everyone chipped in and all in all very happy with the bowling and batting as well. It did come onto the bat a bit better in the second innings and the slower balls stopped gripping and special mention to Ishan the way he batted. I tried to do what I can but he kept following his instincts and it was a quality innings on debut. When you play in the IPL with such dominance like he has and he is a fearless character and he knew that he was hitting the ball well and he is very calculated and not restless. Today that counterattacking innings from him and that partnership was needed. I had to shift the focus back to the basics of the game and I always take pride in doing the job for the team. Just kept my eyes on the ball and my wife is here and she keeps telling me a lot of things about what I need to do. We have a great management that keeps us in the right space. And also I had a special chat with ABD before the start of the game and he just told me to watch the ball. That’s exactly what I did.
