Virat Kohli said i’m not in absolute agreement in deciding the best test side in the world over the course of one game.
To be honest if it is a test series it has to be a test of character over three tests to know which team has the ability to come back in the series and totally blow away the other team.

It can’t just be a pressure applied over a 2 days of a good cricket and you suddenly a not good test side anymore i don’t believe in that i think it has to be hard grind and something that definitely needs to be worked around in the future to really at the end of three matches there is effort and there is ups and downs and situation changing course throughout the series.
A chance to rectify the things that you have done wrong in the first game and really see who is the better side over a course of a three match series or something and a good measure of how things really are.
So We are not too bothered by the result because we understand as a test side we understand what we have done over the last 3 – 4 years not just over the last 18 months, but over the last 3-4 years this is not a measure of who we are as a team.
The ability and the potential we had for so many years now.

They are a very effective side. We have seen that over the years they are a very structured side and they like to play cricket in a certain manner.
As i said you need to find ways to disrupt that and if u dont put their bowlers under pressure then they have the fitness and consistency to bowl long spells and keep bowling all day in the same areas and trouble you.
The more momentum you give them wherever they get the breakthrough they want..
Our endeavour from here on will be to try and score runs and not worry about getting out in testing conditions. That’s the only way you can score and out the opposition under pressure otherwise you just literally stand there hoping that you don’t get out.

Eventually you are not optimistic enough and you have to take more risks and calculative risks and be confident about taking those risks a quality bowling attack like New Zealand.
